- Your roles and responsibilities at Crossview: Family and Counseling Pastor, I oversee the small group and children’s ministries, as well as providing individual or couples counseling as needed.
- How you ended up at Crossview: My wife and I visited many churches in the area after moving to the Tri-cities a year ago. We were blessed by the community and Christ-centered focus we found here.
- Hobbies: Playing guitar, singing, leading worship when Grant lets me
I love reading, people watching, most outdoor activities and sports.
Favorites
- Favorite Books: Okay. I’m a big book nerd. Favorite books of the Bible: Nehemiah, James, Acts. Other books: A new kind of Christian, Simple Church, Surprised by Hope, Church History in Plain Language, The Agony and the Ecstasy, and the entire “Tin-Tin” comic series.
- Favorite Movies: Armageddon is the best movie ever made. After that I really enjoy fantasy and action, so Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Naria, etc. Chariots of Fire, and the biography of Rick Copeland.
- Favorite Bands/Music: Really getting into Jesus Culture, I pretty much like all genres of music except for techno and maybe most kinds of screamo.
- Favorite Word: Wowza.
- Favorite Television Character and Why: Chuck. Because he’s Chuck.
- Favorite Cartoon Character and Why: The robot from Duck Tales, I wanted to be him when I was younger. And last week.
- Favorite Place to Visit: Altadena, CA. You should go sometime.
- Favorite Place You’d Like to Visit: Oh man, lots of places. Somewhere with nice beaches, warm water, drinks with umbrellas in them.
- A Few Other Favorite Things: Pad Thai, Victory motorcycles, Taylor guitars, Seahawks, Broncos, being with friends!
